Hiring the right contractor makes all the difference when you undertake an exciting project like building or remodeling your home. That’s why Rex General Contracting Inc. takes charge of managing all aspects of your project from start to finish. It all starts with you. We make sure we have a clear understanding of what you want, and the project officially begins with a “promise in writing” and will not end until every last detail is completed to your satisfaction. From there, we’ll be your main contact throughout the project. We’ll work with your architect and designer to make sure plans are completed to your specifications. We’ll hire and supervise subcontractors, obtain building permits, order supplies, and schedule inspections. We keep you informed of progress and work hard to include your design ideas along the way. It’s our job to oversee it all to ensure that your job is done to your satisfaction.

Clint Rex
Clint realized his passion for the building industry when he apprenticed with a local builder at the age of 15. By age 18, he had learned almost every trade associated with custom homebuilding and remodeling. In 1995, he established Rex General Contracting as a one man show.
In the early years he worked hands-on completing all of the framing and interior trim on all of his projects. This direct building experience is what led to his high quality of standards when it comes to small details and finishes. His perfectionism and high expectations guarantees that jobs are completed to the highest quality.
Clint prefers to be the main contact on all of his jobs so he can be sure that his customers are getting exactly what they want. Clint will never cut corners, and is steadfast in his honesty and integrity. He lives with his wife, three children, and two dogs in Upper Arlington.
