Here is how a typical project flows:
INITIAL CONSULTATION:First of all, we'll meet to understand your vision for your home and then turn that into a project plan. We'll restate the project objectives; propose costs, site requirements and special conditions so we're in sync right from the beginning.
ARCHITECT REVIEW AND/OR SELECTION: If you have an architect you'd like to work with, we'll meet with them and provide an honest assessment of their plans and fees. If you do not have an architect in mind, we'll recommend one of our trusted partners with experience in projects similar to yours.
DESIGN CONSULTATION: We'll review the overall design relative to proposed budget, site requirements, construction feasibility and any other special conditions of the project.
BIDDING AND BUDGETING:Next we'll manage the process of producing completed architectural drawings, specifications and detailed report of costs, fees and a budget-management recommendation. Our goal is to present you with a comprehensive but understandable estimate for the time and cost to bring your vision to life.
CONSTRUCTION PERMITS: Once you are comfortable with and approve the overall plan and budget, we'll take care of obtaining all of the required building permits from applicable jurisdictions.
SITE WORK: Before construction can begin, we'll prepare the building site. This entails grading of the general building site with respect to drainage, existing topography, landscape, utilities, and vehicular circulation/access. We'll also manage any excavation and installation of utilities.
BUILDING SHELL CONSTRUCTION:This is where you start seeing your dream taking shape. We'll start with the proper foundation, to framing, through rough electrical and mechanical insulation and drywall.
FINISHES: Rex is known for high quality finish work. All millwork, windows, plumbing, electrical fixtures, appliances, flooring, cabinets and painting are done to your satisfaction.
PROJECT CLOSE OUT: The project finally comes to a close. We'll finalize a punch-out list, final cleaning and conduct our walk through with you to ensure your dream is finally reality and make sure you are satisfied with all work completed.
